The Wargrave garden tackles formidable challenges: strong winds, scorching summers, frosty winters, an underground water stream, and heavy clay soil. We strategically selected plants and adjusted the design to overcome these hurdles.
A lush oasis at the garden's base leverages the underground water, while potted Mediterranean-inspired plants on the patio tackle extreme heat and are easily shielded from cold weather.
Resilient species like Crataegus, Viburnums, and Geraniums thrive throughout, ensuring long-term success.
Through ongoing design refinement and adaptable plantings, we're confident the Wargrave garden will flourish, transforming obstacles into opportunities for enduring beauty and sustainability.
